In 2012, Brook and Andy Stowers decided to move from Wisconsin to New England. Enamored with the charm and history of the area, they settled on NW Connecticut. They spent 6 months looking at a large number of restaurants, each with its own strengths. Saltwater Grille was their choice.

Originally founded in 2007, it quickly became an award winning destination restaurant for seafood lovers in Northwest Connecticut. Today, the feel of the restaurant embodies traditional Midwestern hospitality and warmth with an affection for good food.

Saltwater Grille has a Charming atmosphere in the historic district of one of the most iconic New England towns. Diverse menu options including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and kids menus with something for most plus a great selection of craft beers, scotches, bourbons and wines.
