In 2012, Brook and Andy Stowers decided to move to New England. Enamored with the charm and history of the area as well as its proximity to all that some of the nation’s greatest metropolitan areas have to offer, they settled on NW Connecticut. They spent 6 months looking at a large number of restaurants, each with its own strengths. Saltwater Grille was their choice.
Originally founded in 2007, it quickly became an award winning destination restaurant for seafood lovers in Northwest Connecticut. In December of 2013, Andy & Brook purchased the restaurant intent on building on its success. Today, the feel of the restaurant embodies traditional Midwestern hospitality and warmth with an affection for good food.
